Yavapai-Prescott Tribe to announce plans to consolidate casinos

The Yavapai-Prescott Tribe of Arizona will hold a press conference this Saturday to discuss plans for a new casino.

The facility will feature a 50,000 square-foot gaming floor and a hotel with 60 to 80 rooms. It will consolidate the tribe's two existing gaming facilities -- Bucky's Casino and Yavapai Casino.

The casino will be across the highway from the Fronter Village, the tribe's retail and commercial development
