The Muscogee Nation of Oklahoma is bringing a popular steakhouse to its casino. A 15,505 square-foot Mickey Mantle’s Steakhouse will be coming to the River Spirit Casino. It's only the second location of the eatery, which is named for baseball legend Mickey Mantle, who was from Oklahoma. “We’ve always had our sights on Tulsa,” Brittany Leemaster, director of events and marketing for the restaurant, told The Tulsa World. “When River Spirit asked is if we were interested, we didn’t think twice about it.”

The tribe is spending $335 million to expand the casino. The project includes a 26-story hotel, includes a new gaming area, an entertainment venue, a convention center, a spa, a pool, a theater and restaurants in partnership with Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville brand. The Mickey Mantle’s Steakhouse will be located in the hotel. It will open as part of a second phase of the casino expansion. Get the Story:
