The Wyandotte Nation of Oklahoma won't object to the dismissal of a lawsuit over its off-reservation gaming site in Kansas. The tribe, however, has said that it will continue to pursue a land-into-trust application for the 10.5-acre site in Park City. A document filed in federal court on Friday indicates additional information can be submitted to the Bureau of Indian Affairs. The tribe acquired the site in connection with a land claim settlement act. Assistant Secretary Kevin Washburn, however, said the record wasn't clear on the source of the funds. The tribe previously acquired a site in downtown Kansas City and opened the 7th Street Casino, a Class II facility, there.
