The Seminole Tribe and Florida Gov. Rick Scott
(R) are reportedly close to announcing a new Class III gaming compact.
Details are still being kept under wraps. But Scott is reportedly asking lawmakers to come back for a special session in May to ratify the new agreement.
Lawmakers were considered an expansion of non-Indian gaming during their most recent session. They ended discussions to wait for the new compact.
