The Yavapai-Prescott Tribe of Arizona got scooped by a local business regarding its plans for a new casino.

Zeke's Eatin' Place posted a copy of a press release on Facebook before the tribe sent it to the local media.

"Zeke's had no authority to post that, but the press release is true," Rich Marcum, the tribe's general manager, told The Prescott Daily Courier. "He's getting out ahead of us."

The tribe is holding a press conference on Saturday to announce the project. The facility will feature a 50,000 square-foot gaming floor and a hotel with 60 to 80 rooms.

According to the press release, the tribe is consolidating its tribe's two existing gaming facilities -- Bucky's Casino and Yavapai Casino.
