Snoqualmie Tribe moves ahead with new casino regulators

The Snoqualmie Tribe of Washington is moving forward with a new gaming commission.

The tribal council took over the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission following the resignation of its former chairman. The tribe also fired the executive director and manager due to complaints about their behavior.

The tribe hasn't identified the new commissioners. Meanwhile, the former chairman, William Papazian is pursuing a lawsuit against three executives at the Snoqualmie Casino and two tribal council members, claiming they are running an illegal operation.

The tribe is not named in the lawsuit.
