Yakama Nation casino employee was among 42 people charged in connection with a scam at the tribe's casino in Washington.
Juan Reyes Correa, a marketing employee at
Legends Casino, is accused of rigging a weekly promotional drawing. He allegedly told certain customers in advance that their names would be drawn and told them how to pick the highest-value prizes.
Correa was charged with 47 counts of theft by an employee in connection with 47 incidents at the casino. The patrons face charges of conspiracy to steal casino funds and theft from a gaming establishment.
The tribe asked federal authorities to investigate.
