Tonto Apache Tribe celebrates 20th birthday for gaming facility

The Tonto Apache Tribe of Arizona is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its gaming facility.

The Mazatzal Casino started out in a one-room modular unit with just 90 slot machines and a snack bar. The facility now boasts a 53,000 square-foot casino and a 40-room hotel.

The tribe is holding birthday events all week.
