Two tribes contribute $1.7M in gaming revenues to community

The Barona Band of Mission Indians and the Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation shared $1.7 million in gaming revenues with communities in San Diego County, California.

Recipients included law enforcement agencies, social service agencies and fire departments. The Indian Gaming Local Community Benefit Committee determined where the money went.

Under their Class III gaming compact, the tribes contribute to the Indian Gaming Special Distribution Fund.
