Cayuga Nation reopens gaming facility on land that isn't in trust

The Cayuga Nation of New York has reopened its bingo hall.

The tribe is offering bingo and pull tabs at the facility, which closed several years ago as part of a legal dispute with the state and local authorities. The LakeSide Entertainment 1 is located on property that is the subject of a pending land-into-trust application.

The Bureau of Indian Affairs published a final environmental impact statement for the application in October 2010. A final decision, however, hasn't been made
