Mohegan Tribe to welcome basketball tournament at casino

The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut will host a college basketball tournament at its casino in 2014.

The Mohegan Sun Arena was chosen for the American Athletic Conference's first women's basketball tournament. The event takes place March 7-10, 2014, with an option to host again in 2015.

The tribe owns the Connecticut Sun, a professional women's basketball team.
