Southern Ute Tribe hopes new casino eateries lure customers

The Southern Ute Tribe of Colorado has added three eateries to its casino.

The Sky Ute Casino Resort now offers Seven Rivers, a fine dining steakhouse, Willows Baja Grille, a casual Mexican restaurant, and Willows Caf Bistro, a coffee shop. The aim is to draw more patrons from Durango, about 23 miles away.

"There's a large foodie population in Durango, and we wanted to get into that market a little bit." John Maskovich, the director of food and beverage at the casino, told The Farmington Daily Times.
