Puyallup Tribe announces plans for major expansion of casino

The Puyallup Tribe of Washington announced plans for a major expansion of the Emerald Queen Casino.

The tribe will start work this summer on 2,500-stall parking structure. After that's finished, the tribe will build an entirely new casino with more machines, new restaurants and other amenities.

“We’ve been leading up to this,” casino general manager Frank Wright told The Tacoma News-Tribune.

The tribe expects to spend between $150 million and $200 million on the project.
