The Tuolumne Band of Me-Wuk Indians in California will debut a $22 million hotel at the Black Oak Casino to the public on May 1. The 148-room facility will turn the casino into the largest hotel and biggest conference center in Tuolumne County, The Modesto Bee reported. The 116,000 square-foot building stands five stories and features a 6,000-square-foot conference center. "We're shooting for a four-star, four-diamond rating," hotel manager Paul Medawar told the paper. The tribe has hired more than 100 employees for the expansion. Get the Story:
