Snoqualmie Tribe still working on plans for casino expansion
Monday, March 18, 2013
The Snoqualmie Tribe
of Washington is still working on plans to add a hotel to the Snoqualmie Casino.
The tribe scheduled a general council meeting to discuss refinancing of its casino debt last month, The Seattle Times reported. But the meeting was canceled to give tribal leaders more time to consider the project, the paper said.
The size of the hotel hasn't been determined but initial discussions of a 20-story, 340-room facility stirred concerns in the community.
