Skokomish Tribe plans summer opening for casino expansion

The Skokomish Tribe of Washington is expanding its Lucky Dog Casino.

The tribe broke ground on a 6,000-square-foot addition to the facility. Construction is moving quickly and the new space will be ready by this summer.

“The expansion of Lucky Dog Casino is symbolic of the continued growth we have seen over the last few years in our businesses and as a tribe," Chairman Guy Miller said.

The expansion will bring another 60 gaming machines to the casino floor, bringing the total to more than 260. This part of the project will be finished in early summer.

A new dining room for the NorthFork Grill, an event space and administrative offices will be completed later in the summer.
