Tribal slot machine revenues grew by 6.4 percent in New Mexico

Tribal casinos in New Mexico saw slot machine revenues grow by 6.4 percent in 2012, The Albuquerque Journal reports.
Net win from slot machines at tribal casinos was $759.6 million, according to the New Mexico Gaming Control Board. Of that amount, tribes shared $68.3 million with the state, a 4.8 percent increase from 2011.
The Navajo Nation appears to be driving much of the growth. Net win at the tribe's three casinos in New Mexico was $81.2 million in 2012, up from $46.2 million in 2011.
