The
National Indian Gaming Commission announced a new director of public affairs.
Michael Odle will oversee NIGC's media relations, internal information and congressional and legislative affairs.
He comes to the agency from the
Department of Agriculture, where he worked on a sacred sites policy.
"Mike brings strong public affairs skills coupled with experience working on the hill,”
NIGC Chairwoman Tracie Stevens said in a press release. “He is committed to increasing the Commission’s methods of communication delivery to tribes, tribal regulators and Congress, and I am delighted to have him join our team.”
