Mohegan Tribe pitches Pennsylvania commercial casino plan

The Mohegan Tribe of
Connecticut outlined plans for a commercial casino in Pennsylvania.
The $500 million MARKET8 casino would be located in downtown Philadelphia.
Mitchell Etess, the chief executive officer of the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority, said the facility would generate over $225 million a year in tax revenues.
A total of six groups are bidding for the Philadelphia license. Public hearings will be held April 11-12.
