The $500 million MARKET8 casino would be located in downtown Philadelphia. Mitchell Etess, the chief executive officer of the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority, said the facility would generate over $225 million a year in tax revenues.

A total of six groups are bidding for the Philadelphia license. Public hearings will be held April 11-12.
