Omaha Tribe to start work on permanent casino this March

The Omaha Tribe of Nebraska plans to break ground on a permanent casino in March.

The tribe reopened the Blackbird Bend Casino in a temporary, 6,800 square-foot building. A new facility could be ready by spring of 2014, according to news reports.

The casino is located in Iowa.
