Ramona Band of Cahuilla Indians is negotiating a Class III gaming compact with California
Gov. Jerry Brown (D), Banning Beaumont Patch reports.
The tribe is based on a 560-acre reservation in Riverside County.
The tribe does not currently operate a gaming facility.
County supervisors approved a memorandum of agreement with the tribe to set the basis for addressing impacts of a potential casino.
