Eastern Shawnee Tribe spent $85M on bigger casino and hotel

The Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma spent $85 million on its new casino.

The 80,000 square-foot Indigo Sky Casino features over 1,200 gaming machines, 117 hotel rooms, five dining options and an RV park, The McDonald County Press reported. It replaces the tribe's much smaller casino.

“I can’t tell you how proud I am to be here today,” Chief Glenna Wallace said at the grand opening, the paper reported.

The facility is located near the Missouri border.
