The
Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma is looking to refinance $46 million in gaming debt, The Native American Times reports.
Refinancing would allow the tribe to lower its debt by about $5 million, the paper said.
The deal requires a waiver of sovereign immunity.
The tribe at one point owed more than $84 million on the
Kiowa Casino, the paper said.
