Dry Creek Rancheria uses gaming revenues for new ambulance

Thanks to gaming revenues, the Dry Creek Rancheria of California purchased an $80,000 ambulance for a local service provider.

Bell’s Ambulance Service has provided emergency service to the reservation for decades. “They’ve been up and down that road before there was a road,” Chairman Harvey Hopkins noted, The Santa Rosa Press-Democrat reported.

The Class III gaming compact requires the tribe to share money with local communities.
