Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe increases bet limits on table games

The Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe of South Dakota is taking advantage of a new state law that raises the bet limits on table games.

The maximum bet is now $1,000, up from $100. It applies to poker and blackjack.

"We have $500 chips on order," Royal River Casino Table Games Director Larry Williams told KELO-TV.

Last year, the tribe negotiated an amendment to its Class III gaming compact to allow up to 500 slot machines at the casino. The prior limit was 250 machines.
