The U.S. gaming industry, including tribal casinos, took in $88.14 billion in 2010, according to
Casino City's American Gaming Almanac.
The figures showed a 0.03 percent increase from the year prior, according to the report. Tribal gaming revenues were $26.5 billion in 2010, a 1.54 percent increase, Casino City said.
In Oklahoma, gaming represented 2.33 percent of the state's economy, the report said. The state boasts five of the top 100 largest casinos throughout North America.
WinStar World Casino is the third-largest casino in North America in terms of total gaming machines, according to the report. The
Chickasaw Nation owns the facility.
Compared to other states, Oklahoma ranked ninth in terms of gaming revenues. Looking at Indian gaming alone, it's the second-largest market after California.
