The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority saw a record year in revenues and profits in the last fiscal year.
The six casinos on First Nations took in $267.2 million in revenues. Profit was $81.6 million.
"That would be a record for us, we saw pretty good growth this year in about the six-and-a-half per cent range," SIGA President Zane Hansen said at a news conference, CKOM reported.
Hansen said Internet gaming looks to be a new venture for First Nations.
