Few details about Aquinnah Wampanoag Tribe casino partner

Little is known about the group working with the Aquinnah Wampanoag Tribe to build a casino in Massachusetts.

KMD Consulting Services of California is definitely working with the Menominee Nation on an off-reservation casino. But The Cape Cod Times hasn't been able to confirm the company's claimed ties to casinos in Las Vegas.

"It doesn't mean they're not reputable," Roger Gros, the publisher of Global Gaming Business Magazine who has asked around about KMD, told the paper. "We've just never heard of them."

KMD will help the tribe with a Class II facility on its reservation in Martha's Vineyard or a Class III facility in the southeastern part of the state, Chairwoman Cheryl Andrews-Maltais said.
