Santa Ysabel Band seeks settlement in gaming funds dispute

The Santa Ysabel Band of Mission Indians wants to settle a dispute over $3 million in gaming revenues owed to San Diego County, California.

Chairman Virgil Perez said the tribe has offered to make a payment arrangement. But the county hasn't responded, he said.

The tribe agreed to pay about $600,000 a year to the county for law enforcement and other services associated with the Santa Ysabel Casino.
