The Santa Ysabel Band of Mission Indians has apparently failed to pay $3 million it owes to San Diego
County, California.
The tribe agreed to make payments to offset the impacts of the Santa Ysabel Casino.
But the county never got any money, resulting in an arbitration award of
$3 million that a federal judge upheld in January of this year.
To date, the tribe hasn't complied with the decision so the county is going after the tribe's bank accounts.
