Enterprise Rancheria confident for off-reservation casino

The Enterprise Rancheria of California is confident its off-reservation casino will be approved despite opposition from Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-California).

Last September, the Bureau of Indian Affairs approved the tribe's casino bid. But Feinstein claimed the environmental impact statement was incomplete after some local governments said their views weren't adequately represented.

After a second review, however, the Obama administration said it stood by the EIS, The Marysville/Yuba City Appeal-Democrat reported. Now it's up to Gov. Jerry Brown (D) to make a decision on the casino.
