The Red Lake Nation of Minnesota is breaking ground on a new casino and hotel next week.
The new Seven Clans Casino Hotel and Restaurant will be located on a 163-acre site in Warroad. It will feature 600 slot machines, a restaurant, a snack bar and a 60-room hotel.
The tribe is also building a an RV Park, public campgrounds, boat landing and boat docks at the site.
Future plans call for a an event center, meeting rooms, more hotel rooms, more dining options, resort cabins and more boat launches.
