The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut reaffirmed its plan to bid for a commercial casino in Massachusetts.
The tribe hasn't submitted a $400,000 fee to the Massachusetts Gaming Commission. The deadline is January 15, 2013.
"We know what the deadlines are, it's when we'll be more prepared with our complete package to present to them," Mitchell Etess, the CEO of the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority, told WWLP-TV.
The tribe wants to build a casino in Palmer, in western Massachusetts.
