New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) said he will keep fighting the Seneca Nation to recover disputed gaming revenues.
The tribe has withheld $460 million from the state over the past two years as part of a Class III compact dispute.
The deal promises exclusivity but the tribe says the state has allowed an expansion of non-Indian facilities.
An arbitration panel selected by the tribe and the state will be looking into the dispute.
But Cuomo said he won't stop fighting until he secures "justice" for the state.
"I’m not going to go away until justice is done for the people of this state –- one way or another,’’ Cuomo told reporters, The Buffalo News reported.
Cuomo has proposed an expansion of non-Indian gaming.
