Oregon tribe spending up to $20M for gaming expansion project

The Confederated Tribes of Coos, Lower Umpqua and Siuslaw Indians in Oregon will be spending up to $20 million on a casino expansion project.

The tribe is adding a golf course, hotel rooms, a new restaurant, an indoor aquatic center and an overnight RV park to the Three Rivers Casino and Hotel. The project is expected to be completed sometime in 2014.

The golf course was recently purchased for $5 million. The tribe will be redesigning the course and renovating the clubhouse at the 140-acre facility.
