The Red Lake Nation of Minnesota has reportedly reached an agreement to relocate a man and his mother from a proposed casino site.
Donald Kakaygeesick said he owns seven acres that the tribe will use for the casino.
He has agreed to relocate but wants to compensated for the land.
Kakaygeesick is Ojibwe and has claimed affiliation with the
Warroad Ojibwe, which lacks
federal recognition.
