The Tsuu T'ina Nation of
Alberta plans to spend $65 million to expand its casino.
Plans for the Grey Eagle Casino include a 178-room hotel with conference and banquet facilities, a 2,000 seat entertainment venue and more floor space for an additional 300 slot machines, The Calgary Herald reported.
Construction will start immediately, the paper said.
The gaming portion will open in spring 2013 and the hotel is expected to open in fall 2014.
