Rancheria of California will break ground on a $40 million casino expansion project.
The tribe is adding an 84-room hotel to the Win-River Casino. It will include an outdoor swimming pool, an arcade, a fitness center and a 3,929-square-foot spa.
The tribe is also adding more space to the casino itself. A new food and bar area will be housed in a 6,411 square-foot building.
The tribe originally planned to spend $90 million on the expansion but scaled the project down twice due to the slump in the economy.
