The Mashpee
Wampanoag Tribe will host Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick (D) on Thursday for a celebration of the Class III gaming compact.
The tribe and Patrick signed a 15-year deal to authorize a casino in Taunton.
The compact awaits approval from the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
The celebration takes place from 11am to 4pm at the tribe's headquarters in Mashpee. Patrick is expected to attended between 12:30pm and 2pm.
