The Mohegan Tribe of
Connecticut will take over operations of a casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey, The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Sources told the paper that the tribe will announce a partnership today for the Resorts Casino Hotel, the oldest gaming facility in Atlantic City. The Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority is expected to assume all administrative functions, as well as marketing and accounting, the paper reported.
Hard Rock International,
owned by the Seminole Tribe
of Florida, is pursuing a new casino development in Atlantic City.
