The Mohegan Tribe of
Connecticut broke ground on a $50 million hotel and convention center at
its gaming facility in Pennsylvania.
The seven-story hotel will feature 238 rooms. There will also be a business center, a fitness center, an indoor pool, an outdoor terrace, meeting rooms and an event room that will accommodate banquets of up to 600 people and concerts for up to 1,500 people, The Wilkes-Barre Citizen Voice reported.
The facility is expected to open by the end of 2013.
