The Mashantucket Pequot
Tribal Nation of Connecticut has eliminated 19 engineering jobs at its casino, fewer than the 77 that were reported last month.
The engineering employees at the Foxwoods Resort Casino recently joined the International Union of Operating Engineers. They organized under tribal law.
In addition to the layoffs, 14 engineering employees were promoted and 33 accepted severance packages, The New London Day reported.
