The Massachusetts House voted 120-32 to approve a Class III gaming compact for the Mashpee Wampanoag
Tribe.
The 15-year compact awaits a vote in the Senate. After it passes, it can be sent to the Bureau of Indian Affairs for review.
The deal requires the tribe to share 21.5 percent of gross gaming revenues.
The BIA recently rejected a compact with a double-digit gross revenue sharing rate.
