A reported 1,300 people turned out for a casino job fair hosted by the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the
Potawatomi in Michigan.
The tribe is hiring about 320 people for the FireKeepers Casino.
Most of the positions will be at the new 242-room hotel that's opening later this year.
“We're looking to keep the applicant pool rich and full,” Renee Martin, the director of human resources, told MLive. “We want to put people to work.”
