The Eastern Band of Cherokee
Indians in North Carolina will hold two job fairs to hire more people to work at its casino.
The tribe plans to hire 500 table game dealers at the Harrah’s
Cherokee Casino and Resort.
The new dealers are expected to go work by the end of August, The Asheville Citizen-Times reported.
“We’ll be hiring on the spot,” Jo Blaylock, the casino’s vice president of human resources and community relations, told the paper.
The job fairs take place July 11 and July 25.
