The Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma plans to open a new gaming facility this fall.
The Cherokee Casino in Ramona only opened in 2010 but it's done better than expected. So the tribe is building a bigger, 31,000 square-foot facility and tearing down the existing one to make room for a bigger parking lot.
The tribe plans to hire another 100 people to work at the new casino, bringing the total number of employees to nearly 200, The Bartlesville Examiner-Enterprise reported.
