The Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria expects to open its gaming facility in late 2013, according to an update posted online by Station Casinos, the tribe's partner.
Station Casinos sent a letter to nearby residents.
It states that construction will begin in "late June" and will take about 16 and 1/2 months, putting the casino opening sometime in the October-November 2013 time frame.
"The first phase of the Project involves the construction of the casino, restaurants, and parking," the letter states.
The tribe has already begun some preparatory work at the casino site.
