The Ute Tribe of Utah has completed a feasibility study for an off-reservation casino in Colorado.
The tribe's reservation crosses into Colorado and ends near the town of Dinosaur. The tribe and the town entered into a predevelopment agreement to study the casino.
The study was finished in March but has yet to be presented to the town.
“We’re just waiting to hear back from the tribe. It’s still in their hands,”
Mayor L.D. Smith told The Craig Daily Press.
