The Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community has reached a deal that will put an end to expand non-Indian gaming in Minnesota, The Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
The tribe will contribute $10 million over the next two years to purses at Canterbury Park.
The amounts will increase over the remainder of the 10-year deal.
In exchange, the track will drop its push to authorize slot machines.
"The racino wars have ended," a source told the paper.
