"Just wanted to straighten out a few things concerning the letter I submitted about the Karuk casino. A few people have gotten a bit upset, maybe a bit mixed up, as to what I really meant.
I am just as proud to be Karuk as I am Shasta, don’t hold one above the other. I appreciate all they’ve done for me and my family, such as having our house, the computer center, aid in paying some bills, the clinic and especially when my wife crossed over and they came through with funding when my family and I needed it right away."
